Mali – Cedeao : Faure Gnassingbé en passe de réussir son pari

Des combats opposent les jihadistes à l’armée malienne dans le Nord du pays.Qui a gagné la bataille d’Anderamboukane ? Depuis mars, les jihadistes de l’Etat islamique au Sahel (EIS) y affrontent les touaregs pro-gouvernementaux du Mouvement du Salut de l’Azawad (MSA) et le Groupe d’autodéfense Imghad et alliés (Gatia), deux groupes bénéficiant du soutien de l’armée malienne. L’objectif est de contrôler cette localité stratégique située à 90 km de la ville malienne de Ménaka, à la frontière avec le Niger.

Les informations en provenance de la zone sont difficiles à recouper pour savoir qui des acteurs s’est imposé ou est actuellement en position de force, comme en témoigne la confusion qui règne après l’offensive lancée en fin de semaine par la coalition pro-Bamako. Ces affrontements se seraient soldés par une victoire de cette coalition, assurent ses responsables. Mais des sources locales, généralement bien informées, contestent et assurent que l’EIS est loin d’avoir été battu et qu’il contrôlerait encore la localité.
